About Zeel Ahir

I was born and raised in Artesia. Loved by Immigrant parents & extended family members. 

Product of ABC Unified School District, graduating class of 2010. I received my Bachelor's in Psychology from California State University of Fullerton. I attended the University of California, Berkeley's post-baccalaureate program for Counseling Psychology. Currently, I am expected to receive a Masters in Social Work from University of Southern California in May, 2025. 

I have led projects for mental health awareness in the South Asian community.

Aided in grass-root movements for lowering single-use plastic consumption, banning round-up fertilizers in California and the re-planting of native trees. 

And as a Commissioner of Beautification & Maintenance for the City, directed in seeking ways to improve the aesthetic and usage of public property.
